Hi, I’m a student from Canada.
I’m currently in grade 10, and my school doesn’t offer a lot of AP courses.
(Well, in fact, it offers only one course: AP calc.)
I took AP psych, micro and macro economics this year and I think I did okay.
I’m just wondering what other courses I could take for next year.
I can always take the online AP courses, if I need to.
Do you think online courses help you studying? cz I studied the courses by myself this year… Never tried taking courses in online yet…
Also, can anyone give me some suggestions about what to take?
I’m thinking about taking Physics, but all I did in school was Phy 11, so I’m a little worried about it. Also, history courses scare me to death…
What other options are there?
I’m absolutely taking AP calc. BC for next year.
I’m thinking of taking 2 or 3 more.

HELP<3

If you have a good musical background, Music Theory would be possible.

Biology is also possible to self-study, though the exam is changing for next year, so I’d hold off on that.

I’ve heard that Physics is difficult to self study, so if you want to do it, consult your teacher frequently.

Have you looked into the AP English’s? Those are doable.

This year I self-studied 10 of the 18 that I took.

You should self-study:
Human Geography
Language and Composition
Environmental Science
US Government

Other than that, if you want a slight challenge you could self-study or take these online:
Literature and Composition
Biology
Comparative Politics
Statistics

Other than that, I would leave the teaching up to a teacher.

Fellow canadian here!

I’d do AP Bio if you like science, AP World if you like history, AP GovPol if you’re into social, AP Chem if you’re hardcore science and can put that much effort in. I have some really good online resources for it that I can send to you if you want. AP Physics isn’t impossible, but it depends on you.

Gl! BTW, which province are you from? I’m from AB.

then can you rank these exams from 1 to 5? (1 as the hardest and 5 as the easiest)

music theory
bio
english language
english lit
human geo
language and compo
enviro sc
us gov.
comp gov.
stat
world history
chem

btw whats the difference between eng lit and eng language? whats easier?

oh, btw i live in BC :D
