<p>Hi, so I’m a sophomore right now and taking AP Physics, and US history since our school does not allow us to take other advanced classes even if we have the capability and previous experiences to do so, and personally I find the classes easy and boring. I don’ really feel challenged, and also I have heard of neighboring public and private school that let their students take a lot more advanced courses. Will I be at a disadvantage to the students in the other schools when it comes to applying to college later on?</p>
<p>First of all, you are 19 years old according to your profile. Secondly, you wrote that you were a Freshman here:

<p>Third of all, you said that you took Algebra II in Freshman. Therefore, there is no way you take Calculus this year unless you took courses in the summer to skip. But you said your school doesn’t let you take more advanced classes even if you have the capability, remember? AP Physics C requires Calculus.</p>
<p>Fourth of all, APUSH and AP Physics are regarded as some of the most difficult AP exams. It is highly doubtful your school would let you take these courses while preventing you from taking others. Unless you have a horrific teacher, it is also unlikely you would not feel challenged in AP Physics C.</p>

you said you were self-studying APUSH, while in this thread you said you were taking it in school! You also said that this is your first AP exam, while in fact you are also taking AP Physics in Sophomore year!</p>
