So, if I got a 5 on the AP Physics C and AP Calculus BC exam, do I get credit for these classes if I am in the honors engineering program? I thought the honors kids took special honors Calc and Physics classes? SHould I take the credit in that case, or go through the honors classes?

I’m not familiar with the Honors Engineering program, but the best advice would probably to talk to your advisor before claiming credit. However, if you wish, you can claim credit (it’s called ‘petition for credit’) without the consent of your advisor.

I would speak to an advisor, they can give you specific information, as Engineering Honors has very specific requirements, which are also different for each supgrouping of engineering.

Do we get to speak with advisors at summer orientation?

yes you do. actually, it might even be mandatory that you talk with them since they’re the ones that will be helping you register for your classes
