<p>I just took the lit exam, and want to challenge the ap language exam.
Any thoughts? If I get like a 3 on lit does that me i should expect like a 3 on lang also?</p>
<p>I would have to say no. I walked out of the Language exam expecting a 5 and got a 4. On the other hand, I left the testing room for Lit with a grateful sigh, duly expecting a -35, but I got a 5. However, most people who are simply good at English tend to do well on both exams. I would have to say however that the Lang. test is generally more difficult.</p>
<p>Maybe I shouldn’t have taken 2 Claritins, a Zyrtec, and a Bendaryl before my Lang test?</p>
<p>I took neither class and sort of winged both tests. I thought lit was considerably more difficult. I got a 4 on lit and a 5 on lang, but I may just be the odd one out.</p>
<p>AHAHA ^about the drugs. I can so relate, I took two benadrylls(sp?) my freshman year before an academic league match and it was my best match all year because I was so drowsy that I wasn’t afraid to ring in). However pills had a negative effect on me my junior year when I had like a cold mixed with allergies and I looked like living hell but I was forced to play in the match since it was an important match so my couch gave me 3 children’s Motrin which really didn’t help so I buzzed in a bunch of times during the match incorrectly (I even couldn’t think of the word holocaust on a question) so anyways we lost and had to run the next day for losing (well not me because I was half-asleep during the match). Haha sorry to digress but that just reminded me of a funny story.</p>
<p>Anyways my response to the OP is that for most people Lit is generally easier than Lang. but that only means that the curve should be a bit easier on Language. Good Luck though!!</p>
<p>According to my teacher and all the people I’ve talked to that took the test, lit is generally considered more difficult of a test, because it’s all about interpretation. There’s more of a “concreteness” to the Lang test, although not much more.</p>
<p>Getting a 3 on Lit is no indication of getting a 3 on Lang, because they test different things. Although it’s weird, because most people take Lang before Lit.</p>
