<p>Currently I am in IB English and it is mostly literature based and analysis. I have already signed up for AP Language and Comp but am thinking about adding AP Lit and Comp. Should my IB class be a good basis for my study or are there specific books and such that are required or is most of the test doable with little prep?</p>
<p>I don’t know anything about IB, but for AP Lit, it’s not really much prep. The MC questions are just basically comprehension, I think, and the essays are just analysis–one poetry, one prose.
There aren’t specific books that are read but you have to have read/remember some books of “literary merit” because the last essay question is just a broad question that could apply to a number of books, and you choose one to answer it with.</p>
