For self studying AP environment science, is the REA review book enough to get a 5, or do you need a textbook? If so, which one is best?

Textbook is the best; REA is good but has some mistakes (e.g. what secondary treatment is). The textbook helps you actually LEARN the material.

You don’t need a textbook. Get Smarty Pants. That book has everything you need.

Of course, if you really want to learn the material in depth, then get a textbook. The test is really easy, though.

Thanks. I live in Canada and Smarty Pants is not sold here, not even on Amazon :(

For textbooks, which one do you recommend?

Our class used an earlier edition of:
http://wps.prenhall.com/esm_wright_envisci_9
(I think!)

I prepped with Barron’s AP Envi Sci book (borrowed it from a friend). It was pretty good, although the MC questions were much harder than those in the actual test, and there was a lot of information that I didn’t really need to know.

Can someone give me a link of where to buy Smarty Pants online?
