Which classes overlap with AP Environmental Science:

-AP Biology
-AP Chemistry
-AP Physics B
-AP Physics C

I thought it was just AP Biology but one person told me that APES goes with AP Physics while AP Biology goes with AP Chemistry. So I want your opinions. Which one does APES overlap with the most?

well, especially considering this year’s AP Exam, I would say taking it last year there is a significant overlap with AP Chemistry (basic chemical equations)…then again my teacher was also a Freshman Biology teacher and i do see that overlap also…though probably not an AP Bio scale.

So maybe it depends on the exam? Could it ever overlap Physics?

Yes to Biology and Chemistry. No to both Physics classes.

There’s a tiny bit of overlap with physics. Like, the laws of thermodynamics and some SUPER basic circuits equations. Basically, things you’d be able to literally learn in five minutes.

^There were circuit equations in APES?

APES and Physics both talk about the laws of thermodynamics, though Physics goes more in depth. APES overlaps with Bio and Chem in stuff like biogeochemical cycles as the name would imply.

My FLVS course had us learn Ohm’s law and P = IV. shrugs
