You all know this, the one you take before each exam (I actually memorized the letter order of my answers after the first few haha).

Why do they only care if you’re majoring in science or not?

Just something I was curious about.

You all know this, the one you take before each exam (I actually memorized the letter order of my answers after the first few haha).

Why do they only care if you’re majoring in science or not?

Just something I was curious about.

For females, it might to gauge female interest in fields in which they’re typically underrepresented.

But as for everyone… I don’t really know. Maybe it’s because “science is the future” and that stuff they always spew to you?

I’ve only taken math/science/Econ/Stat/Comp Sci APs so I always assumed if I took a humanities one they would ask about stuff people who have degrees in humanities do.

It also might be that careers are more obvious if you have a degree in science, as someone with an engineering degree typically does something related to that, whereas someone with an English degree can do a multitude of things that the College Board can’t predict.

I’ve never thought about it before now though.

I was curious about that too when I was filling out the survey…does anyone remember the survey questions from last year?

If last year’s survey questions also asked about the scientific field…i guess they’re using that to judge how much the scientific field is going to grow by?

If last year’s survey questions were about humanities or something like that…i guess collegeboard just randomly asks each year to see if there’s any trend…

All I know is that they asked if the AP class influenced what your going to pursue in college.

I just put g for all of the survey questions.
