So, I am a sophomore in IB and am taking AP courses for the first time. My three AP courses are AP World History, AP English Lang., and AP Environmental Science. I was wondering the best way to prepare for these exams. Like which books are best to buy for these AP exams, and AP exams in general. Also, I am still getting used to this and have heard many things. For example, what is the benefit (except for looking good on a college app.) of getting a 5 on an AP exams instead of a 3. I heard that getting a 5 on some classes can give credit for two classes. So, if someone could please give me this information it would be great. Thams, AP Environmental Science, ap english language, AP World History, Ap English Langnk you.

I’m not sure about which prep books are better than others, but at some schools a 5 can get you college credit or placement into an advanced class. It really depends on the college’s own policy.
