AP Gov question

What grade is AP Government and politics designed for?

AP US Government and AP Comparative Politics is usually done in 11th grade from what I know and some schools do each one separately because they each have their own test. At my school, you can only do it in the 10th grade, unless you transferred from a different school system, and you have to take both classes, with each class being taught on its own for one semester each.

I agree penguinone :stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks sirsamalot! A friend of mine told me it was made for 9th grade, but I wasn’t so sure.

At my school, the advanced 10th graders take it in place of civics or its taken by the 12th graders for an easier AP class.

90% of kids take it a senior. Usually at most schools government is a senior class.

In fact, every AP class is generally meant for juniors and seniors only with the exception of Human Geography (9th), World History (10th), and European History (10th).
