AP Lit fast to read books

Which books are the most helpful and broad books to use on the essays? Which ones are the shortest so that I can read the most in a short amount of time?

Heart of Darkness
A Doll’s House

Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde and Frankenstein

These are both short and loaded with themes for just about any essay

Heart of Darkness is short, very much so, but I wouldn’t suggest that it’s best to read it in a short amount of time, especially if you want to get anything from it. *Definitely *do it if you have the time, though.

I’d like to add Of Mice and Men, if you haven’t. It may not be overloaded, but it’s a quick enough read, and it definitely came in handy for me. Sula might be good, too, but I don’t feel it’s as broad as some other suggestions will be.

Does anyone have any past AP Literature exams or any resources to practice the multiple choice?
