AP Lit vs CSU Expository and Reading?

I was originally planning on taking 4 other AP classes (Calc AB, Macro, Gov, Chem) and CSU Expository reading and writing (a course designed by the cal state system) instead of AP English. However, after getting a 5 in the AP Lang. exam, I feel like I should take the AP Lit one as well. Should I switch into the actual AP Lit class or should I stick with my original schedule and take the AP test (self studying)? Also, would taking CSU Expository Reading and Writing instead of AP or regular affect my admission to out of state schools and private schools?

The AP course is probably at higher level than the CSU course and if you do well on the AP test you can credit from many schools. You’ll do better on the test if you take the course.

A task force of high school and CSU faculty has developed the Expository Reading and Writing Course (ERWC), a full-year college preparatory English course for high school juniors or seniors. The ERWC aligns with the California English-Language Arts Content Standards, addresses critical reading and writing problems identified by the CSU English Placement Test Committee, and prepares students to meet the expectations of college and university faculty.

^^^ That’s CSU course. College Prep (but if you read on, it seems a bit remedial to me)

Take AP Lit (only if you’re generally interested) i loved Lang, but i know i’m going to loathe Lit so i didn’t take it.
