Last semester, we took the AP Lit final and it was a released exam- I got 47/55. However, this semester, we took another final and I got 31/55. It was a practice exam from the princeton review… I was wondering if the practice test would be a good diagnostic and maybe I declined in multiple choice section, or is the test nothing similar to the actual AP exam? Because some of the answers were debatable… Thanks!

Everyone else also scored within the range

I think the released exams will be pretty similar to the actual exam. I’d take a few more released exams if I were you to see if you consistently score within the high 40s; the Princeton Review practice exam may or may not be as accurate.

Occasionally, exams from prep books can be harder than the actual AP test, although whether this is true for AP Literature I am not so sure.
