<p>I asked my teacher who grades AP macro and micro and she says use chain reactions or cause and effect chains if you can answer the question with it. They are sufficient explanation for questions that ask, for example, what happens to AD when the Fed buys bonds. For questions that cannot be answered with simply cause and effect, like for example, why does SRAS shift right in the long run after a recession, you can use cause and effect but also include a few sentences. So if cause and effect chains can answer the question, then by all means use them.</p>
