my school does not offer this course but I think it would look good if I took it because i want to major in business. For anyone who has taken it, is it a hard test. Would studying out of a book be adequate in passing this test.

Well I didn’t think it was too hard, but very conceptual and the curve is terrible IMO.

did u just study out of the book? What did u get on it?

i read Kaplan several times…
and i got a 4 on both macro and micro…

I took macro online - haven’t gotten the score yet though - but I learned a lot regardless of the score. What does “the curve is terrible” mean - too hard or too easy?

i dunno about the curve being terrible part…but I thought this test was pretty easy…all it really is is just monetary and fiscal policy, a little bit of exchange rate stuff, and some other things like lagging/leading indicators…i think i studied for like 15 minutes before the test and I ended up w/ a 5

“Is it hard.”

for me it was. but i see challenges in everything (i.e. nothing should be a given to anyone; people should expect to work). But it did turn out nicely-- got a 5.

get a prepbook + textbook. some would say you could get by with much less, but since it is somewhat relevant to your major, you might as well try to learn something.
