AP Outlining of Chapters

Does anyone have a recommendation for the best way to outline a chapter?

What ever works best for you…

beginning
middle
end

? idk. my bff rose.

My teacher last year in world used the Cornell notes style. Basically any key terms/vocab is listed and defined on the margin of a sheet of paper and subtopic titles, key ideas and notes are bulleted in the center.

Ugh I hated Cornell notes. Such a convoluted method for such a simple task.

Doesn’t your textbook have headings, sub-headings, etc.? Just use those and then put a few key points under each.

I usually stick w/ bullets and indentations for supporting ideas (I guess it’s like outlining in a way w/o having to deal with Roman numerals/CAPS/numbers/lower case letters/etc.)

in school, i also have to use cornell notes for outlining for ap world history.
