Hey~ It seems like alot of people self study for AP Phsycology exam and do well. Is it really that easy? If i decide to take it, about how much time should I spend studying to feel confident in getting a 5? Thnx :D

Depends on how much time you have. If you’re busy, start now, if you aren’t, start a month in advance at a normal pace.

I took the class but the AP is probably the easiest test. Much of it is common knowledge if you read. Most of what you need to know are certain terms and lists. You can start studying now and do well. Good luck!

It’s really not that hard since everyone can related to the concepts, as opposed to other exams like Physics C which have little or no relation to people’s everyday lives.

btw, if you search for books, better spell it correctly…psychology. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself

heh… yeah my spelling kinda sucks… sorry about that…
Is the Holt, Rinehart and Winston Psychology textbook a good textbook to use? It’s the only kind my school has. There aren’t any essays on this test is there?

You should take a look at the Barron’s or Princeton Review study guides, as well as reading your school’s textbook. The AP study guides will be able to give you a better idea of the kinds of questions and have practice tests. Good luck.

The AP Tests are all Part Multiple-Choice, Part Free-Response (essay), so you’ll have to write an essay.

Here’s the free response sections from years past:

5 Steps to a 5.

Everybody I’ve talked to says it’s the best and I used it for a 5. I agree, most of it was common sense but study the brain because that was about the only thing I didn’t know.
