As I’m reviewing for my physics final/midterm…I was wondering (because my teacher posted questions like this) if the AP has questions where they ask a question in another, and the next question asks you stuff about the previous question (usually you utilize the answer from the previous)?

good test-takers always take information from past questions and use it effectively towards answering questions they have no idea about later in the test

i’m sure a science test would have instances just like that, most science tests do

The thing is, sometimes I can’t solve something, but when the next question asks to solve something else (which requires the previous answer). I plug-in the answers from the previous question, thus getting both right. I know that is a bad thing to do, but does the AP have these types of questions?

I doubt the AP exam would have those.

For the FR of the test, of course there are instances like that. For MC, it is rare that that would happen.

There are plenty of questions like these for the FR, but certainly not for the MC. In this case, if you can’t solve part (a), the easiest thing to do is in part (b), write down something like “suppose the answer for part (a) were x = 1” and proceed as you normally would. This would give you full credit for part (b).
