AP Physics 1 Advice

I am an incoming 10th grader and have already taken conceptual physics in 9th grade. I will be concurrently taking Pre-Calculus. I am pretty good with math and got A’s both semesters in Conceptual Physics. Conceptual Physics covered most of the topics of APP1 but did not focus on the math as much. It is a required 9th course at my school. Can you guys tell me about your APP1 experience? How was the exam? Do you have any advice or tips on succeeding in the class and exam? Would I be able to succeed in the class as a 10th grader? (I am currently looking over 5 steps to a 5 and Physics Essentials by Dan F.)

In my school, juniors take the class concurrently with Pre-calculus (so basically the same as you). It totally depends on the teacher, IMO- our teacher is not great at teaching the material, so many of the kids struggle.
As for the exam, it is a very difficult test and I would recommend starting test prep early (maybe get a review book over the summer to skim the topics). It might also be beneficial to have a tutor (many students at my school get tutors).
