I have read that AP courses mainly depend on the teachers… I am in no way to know whether a teacher is good or bad, but DD’s teacher did not give out notes and schedules tests/quizzes on the average of once a week. therefore, the teacher uses 4 days to teach and one day to quiz…Is it normal? he never collected homework…I assume it is okay but is it?
Well assuming that you’re asking if your teacher is effectively preparing you for the exam, you should try to find out what he should be teaching you and if you are understanding it. Go out and buy/borrow a prep book and look over the content review of the AP course. You’ll have to do a self assessment of whether the teacher is aptly going over the content of the exam.
Also AP tests are also dependent on the student as well, they will have to be able to understand and apply what they learn while taking the test. So as long as the student can digest the information that is hopefully supplied by the teacher, you should be good.
