My school messed up my schedule so I can’t take AP physics C in the fall. I took Calc BC and Chem last year and got 5s on both easily (partly because I had a ti nspire CAS). My school does offer independent studies (IS) where you get a period with a teacher everyday and the teacher helps you learn something independently (such as o-Chem, Obj-C coding or other classes not offered). I’m considering taking a IS for phys C (EM&Mech), but I’m worried because the periods are only 44 min long. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have any prior physics experience (ie physics B) if so you should be able to do it very easily. If not, i think you still may be ok assuming you are a highly motivated student, and are able to grasp concepts quickly.

Only 44 minutes long? Our school has 40 minute periods for every class, and I’m taking Physics C next year. I would think that getting independently taught the material would be more effective than having a class, so you should be fine. It sounds awesome.
