How are you guys preparing for the test?

I do generally ballin’ on the frq’s (10-12 out of 15), but get raped on mc (15-20 out of 35)…its not that i don’t know the information, i just don’t remember all the little formulas from my text like: f = -derivative of PE, or w = Integral of F or J = integral of force (with respect to t), and so on and so forth.

Do you think that if I go through the entire text this weekend and write down all these formulas and memorize them I’ll get the magic number [5]? I have no prb applying them, its just knowing them :\

My AP C teacher told me not to worry, she showed me the released 2004 blue AP book from the c-board, and they had a scale for that year ad a 49/90 on the mech test was a 5?!
I all honesty I was flabbergasted, I would have sword that it’d be higher than that, I mean Calc BC is even 60%+…lol…

But I guess this is good news for us…lol…

Good luck on the test guys! :)

anyone know how to prepare? The test is on Monday…

solve problems from the AP Prinston preparation Book … the Mc’s at the end of every chapter helps you to conceptualize the ciriculum … also the test at the end of the book is very useful …

i’m curious about this exam’s curve too. also e&m if anyone knows

I’m taking both exams. 8 hours of testing, great lol.

I think I’m fully prepared for the AP Physics C: E&M test, I score 4s and 5s on the practice exams. I have to study for the AP Physics C: Mechanics a lot though, because I think I’ll get like a 3 on it. It’s usually the other way around, is what my teacher told me.

I’m curious about the E&M curve too…

AP PHYSICS C E+M and MECHANICS IS 8 hours?!
But I thought it was 2 each…

Each test is 90 minutes long [45mins mc, 45mins frq’s], so the total test time is 3 hours total; just like any other test (except econ :))

Yeah the physics C test altogether is 3 hours. Same for physics B. oh and aquaporin how on earth are you scoring 4s and 5s on E&M and 3s on Mechanics that just makes no sense loll

what did people think of the ap physics mechanics today?

SOOOO hard.
i drew stuff on the first free response.

should i cancel my scores?
