AP Physics C Mechanics Book

Hello,
I need everyone’s opinion.
I heard Barron is too detailed. I also experienced myself when I was studying AP Calculus AB
How about TPR? is it too easy-going book?

Give me your advice… i am self studying, but with reasonable realistic thing,… meaning… some people just discourage me from taking it when I say I am self studying…

But Math in Physics C Mechanics will not be a problem, and I learned Mechanics without Calculus in IB Physics HL at school.

That was a rather prolonged explanation to rationalize myself… Please give your advice on the choice of books! Your opinions are greatly appreciated!

bump… i would appreciate any advice… in a little bit of hurry … i’m sorry

Bump.,…

Barons or Princeton. I would go with Barons.

how about both?
because Barrons at first can be hard to understand, but needed for polishing the last minute skills?

well, to honestly do well in ap physics c - mechanics you need to know calculus. do you have a good calculus background?

barrons imo is too hard. im actually in the process of looking for a book also. i think im going to go with PR tho. idk. anyone which is better: Barrons or PR?

If you can get both, get both. Sometimes if you have trouble on a particular concept the other book might be able to explain better. Anyhow, you can also find lots of good Physics information on the Internet. It also depends on how well you grasped Physics B material.

I would go for Princeton because I have Barron’s now, and it doesn’t really help, it’s just hard.

I think PR hits the right difficulty level and covers about the right amount of stuff. You’ll probably find that the calculus you need to know for mechanics is no problem.
