Hi. I will be taking AP Physics C next year, because I heard it is calculus-based. I am taking AP Calculus AB this year, and will study Calculus BC next year. Is it possible to take AP Physics C without taking AP Physics B? Thank you!

Didnt you say you were accepted to RPI and Tulane?? Now you asy you are a HS junior?? Which is it?

I mean to say “next year” as in “next school year”. I will be taking Calculus BC and an AP Physics course in the summer before college. So, I am asking for advice about AP Physics classes. Please don’t misunderstand. I do not see anything wrong with taking classes in the summer before college.

Where are AP classes offered over the summer? And is it common to refer to summer courses as “next year”?

What is the point in taking an AP class over the summer (even if there is one)? You will not be able to take the AP test until next year and it will not be shown anywhere on the transcript for your school admission. Without AP test result (with a good grade), you cannot obtain credit. What you might do is to take the college level Physics at a community college in the Summer. Then you may transfer the credit later on.

Whatever you said does not make sense.

And if you truly are an international student already at a cc this makes even less sense.

no1 answered his question

So when will you be taking AP Physics C test. After freshmen year in college? Why not just take the Physics courses offered at your next year college. Your lying about something or perhaps are not clear about your intentions.
