AP placement credit=fulfilled requirements credit?

Can I use AP placement for fulfilling core and minors requirements?

Are you CAS, b/c if you are you can’t use AP credit for distribution requirements.

Depends on your college. Visit your specific college’s website regarding AP credit.

I am in AEM at CALS. The web site i very unclear as to this particular point. Can someone in the CALS give me an answer?

Ummmm, it’s all here: http://www.admissions.cornell.edu/downloads/adv_placement_intl_credentials.pdf

Thanks, but accepting the AP credit doesn’t always mean you can skip out of the requirement. For instance, some college and pre-med still require you to take one year of college Biol., be it one level higher. That’s why I want to mke sure the AP credit means you have fulfill the requirement and not have to replace with another biol. course.

Well, when the PDF says placement out of, it means that you have fulfilled that requirement. Pre-med requirements is based on whatever medical school you are applying to.
