1) Is there any kind of interpretation-like material? OR, is it just pure memorization?

2) will a prep book only suffice? (Barron’s)

3) When should I start studying?

THANKS!

THANKS!

1.) For the most part, it is not pure memorization. The application of the material is usually very straightforward, though.

2.) Yes.

3.) Whenever. :)

1) From what I’ve heard, it is common-sense and memorization. What silverturtle said.

2) Yes, I know people have studied the weekend before the test and scored 5’s with solely the Barron’s Prep book. I hear Cliffnotes is pretty useful as well.

3) Procrastination is bad.

By looking at the past Free-Response, there is application.

Barrons will suffice.

Any time you want. My friend started in March and received a 5.

^^Glad that you’re still helping people, silverturtle, despite your comment in HSL’s “Post your random thoughts.”

Yeah, I was just a little frustrated. However, my comment was made mostly in exaggerative jest.

1) Application is emphasized, but you might want to memorize some psychologists and get the basic gist of what they did.

2) Yes.

3) Earlier is better, but do try to re-read the prep book again at least two nights before you take the exam.

You need to memorize all the vocabulary for each chapter. Some MC questions will be straight up definitions, while others require you to apply a concept to a situation/ recognize a concept in a given event. It is pretty straightforward.

Barron’s is great. Crash Course is as well :)

I had an excellent teacher who had us use Barron’s starting in mid-late March. We finished the book on a very manageable schedule.

This thread really helped answer some of my questions.
