<p>Is it okay to list AP awards from the collegeboard under the awards section of your application even though they havent officially awarded them yet? When AP scores were mailed out this summer, there was a section in the back of the report that provided the criteria to be considered for certain AP Awards (like AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction, etc.). Since its almost a given if your criteria meets the criteria for a certain award, wouldn’t it be okay to list that you got the award even though it hasnt been officially mailed out yet?</p>
<p>I think it’s ok - if you are worried about it, just write something like:</p>
<p>AP Scholar with Distinction (pending)</p>
<p>I don’t really think the AP awards count for a huge amount anyway, since they see your scores.</p>
