AP schedule change

Are any others having problems with the new AP testing schedule? The last day of testing (May 18) is also graduation day for my D’s high school. The ceremony is during the day with a morning reheaersal for all students.

I graduate the 15th, luckily that was the only day I didn’t have an exam that day or the next. I don’t think any seniors at my school have an exam that day, but I don’t know what rehearsal will be like since a few of us have exams every day of the previous week =/.

wow, that’s odd! And you have the ceremony during the day??? Ours is at night.

My graduation is the 24th, so Im good.

I graduate on the 8th of june… bah!

oh boo hoo egghead. our school graduates on June 23.

How does a school schedule the graduation on AP test day??

We have the opposite problem, my son has a Regent’s test that conflicts with training to be a couselor at camp. I really think a more nationalized school calendar would be helpful.

I haven’t seen the new testing schedule, but it sounds like they have pushed it back a week. It was always so early–kids could barely finish the curriculum in time for the test, then after tests they had 3 more weeks of school to fill.

it’s a BIG benefit for those schools that don’t start until after Labor Day…

“oh boo hoo egghead. our school graduates on June 23.”

yea, but when did you start??

school started Sept. 6th this year.

yea, we started August 16…so im graduating may 24…

therefore, no complaining that you’re graduating later when you started later
