<p>OK, So D’s SAT scores arrived really, really late with ETS offering various contradictory stories about what was going on, pretty much seeming to make up excuses as they went along, generally in a surly tone of voice. Now D’s AP scores have supposedly arrived in the mail and, for reasons that are not fully explained, only one score out of six is here. And, even better, one of the AP tests she took isn’t even listed on the form. (The rest are at least listed, just without scores.) But there’s more: When D telephoned the 24 hour helpful hotline, prepared to fork over $8.00 for info, she discovered that neither her social security number nor her AP exam number yielded any info whatsoever; she basically got a recording that told her that they were unable to identify her. All right, high school is over, and in the grand scheme of things, these scores don’t matter all that much. But really, is there some reason that D’s scores are perenially MIA? Has anyone else ever been in this situation with AP scores and , if so, is there anything that can be done so that the student can receive his/her scores before turning entirely grey? Thanks in advance.</p>
<p>I still haaven’t gotten my AP scores. They haven’t come yet in the mail and when I called AP services they told me that ‘my scores haven’t come out yet call back in a week’!</p>
<p>DD’s October (yes the dreaded Oct) SAT scores were MIA for about a month. Her AP scores have not yet come in the mail.</p>

<p>AP scores are on the way in the mail - the west coast received them yesterday, so everyone else should be receiving them in the next few days.</p>
<p>However, if anyone took a last test, the scores won’t be available until August. So if they aren’t currently available by phone, then they probably won’t be on this score report.</p>

<p>Ordinarily, scores are available by phone (for a fee) on July 1. They usually come in the mail by July 15. </p>
<p>The OP seems to have trouble with identification. It could be owing to the spelling of the name differently, or writing down SS# wrongly. That happened once with S, and we spent some time consolidating the information so that all his scores were reported on the same report.</p>

<p>Before providing the information on how proceed towards solving this issue, allow me to share that many of the criticisms hurled towards the Collge Board are not necessarily justified. For all its faults, TCB does a remarkable job in processing millions of tests and reporting scores in an acceptable time frame. Most of the problems stem from the incorrect record keeping of … the test takers. Having read these boards for a number of years, problems usually arise when test takers use inconsistent information, use incorrect social security numbers, or simply lose their information. In the case of the AP, each student does receive a student pack with the information to retrieve the score by phone on July 1 -or a few days before that. </p>

<p>So, the first step is to call (609) 771-7300 or (888) 225-5427 (from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday,) and talk to a real life person. The process should take about 3 minutes.</p>
<p>Oh but xiggi I did that and everything was fine until they told me that my scores weren’t out yet-they said call back in a week.</p>

<p>The suggestions I posted are obviously only helpful to correct inconsistent information that precludes receiving available results; it cannot speed up the scoring of the late tests.</p>

<p>Thanks xiggi - had I not read your post it wouldn’t have occurred to me that there was an error in my son’s grade report. They left out last year’s scores. We wouldn’t have realized this was unusual until he went to get credit from a test taken last year and discovered that the college never received it. (didn’t read the back until seeing your post.)

<p>I haven’t gotten my AP scores for this year yet, but last year one of my scores was delayed. I got my grade report and next to APUSH there was a *. Basically what happened was one of the testing rooms in my school got shorted on time b/c the teacher in there was an idiot. But anyways all of the APUSH scores from that class and randomly some of the other scores were delayed until about mid August. It’s probably not the same situation as yours but I figured I’d post anyway. You could always try calling college board about the MIA exam. Good Luck!</p>
<p>They completely lost the whole multiple choice part of one of my friend’s AP exams.</p>
<p>Daughter called up yesterday. She took 6 AP exams, but they only found one score. Took her info and told her to call back in a week.</p>
<p>Thanks all. My d is in almost the same situation as audiophile’s. As far as we know, d provided consistently correct info on her exams, which would seem to be supported by the fact that the ETS sent us material her tests listed, and one of them with a score. We’re going to have to phone tomorrow to talk to a live person to figure out whatever happened to the 5 missing scores, and to the one exam that isn’t listed at all. Call back in a week is a bit chilling since we heard that for many weeks running on the SAT’s.</p>
<p>Audiophile…did you have to pay $8 to be told to call back in a week…when you’ll get to pay another $8. Didn’t Xiggi’s post say that the each call was $8?</p>
<p>They gave her a case number to reference when she calls back, so hopefully we don’t have to pay again.</p>
