Hi, I was wondering how influentual are your AP scores in the admissions process at Penn if you choose to send your scores to them. Do they take it in any consideration in the admissions process ? what about if ur Ap scores are kinda contradictory to your Sat II scores. See i have a 5 for US HIS and 4 for Physics, but a 560 for SAT history and 650 for SAT physics. what does this mean to them if any ? Thanks

I don’t know, but how’d you get a 560 if you got a 5 on the AP exam? I mean, if you could I’d retake it.

retake the sat IIs. If you got a 4 on physics, you have a good chance I would say, of getting better on the SAT IIs if you really cram. It’s really not that tough, the curve is amazingly forgiving

keep in mind that ap’s are easier than sat ii’s… and the scoring scale is also very different: you can miss 30 questions or something on ap and still get a 5

I think for physics SATII it was something like you could miss a 1/3 of the questions and still get a near perfect score. It’s not going to hurt you if you take it again and you get a similar/slightly lower score

no!!! no curve is that lenient MichaelJ

in physics…u can miss a couple questions and still maintain 750+ but not a lot and certainly not 1/3

lol I think it was like 10, tops sorry. But you really could miss more than expected. I flew by the seat of my pants and still got 780
