<p>Theoretically, would a 3 on an AP test kill you chances for admissions into a top school?
ie: MIT, Caltech, Harvard, Yale</p>

<p>depends - I think a 3 on Calc might look bad at Caltech. They have a very tough core requirement, esp in math, and they want to make sure that they do not lose students along the way.</p>
