AP Scores to a School My Daughter Is Already In

My daughter got into a highly selective college, and her final semester grades were fine. Most of her nine AP scores were good too (five of them were a 4 or a 5), but a couple were real clinkers: a 1 and a 2.

The question is whether to send all the scores to the school (they accept the 4’s and 5’s for credit) or go through the tedious process of filling out a form to omit the two low scores. This has to be done on paper–the College Board confirmed this. Or will the school just not care that she did poorly on two of the tests, which were not required for admission anyway. Again, her grades were fine–just the AP scores were bad.

Thanks for your advice.

Just send the scores. The clerical in the registrar’s office that process the scores will probably never meet your daughter anyway.

The college won’t really care about the low scores. They’ll just award credit for the high ones.
