AP Self-study: What to skip in Campbell??

I’ve taken on the daunting task to read the whole textbook before May. Our school’s curriculum is really frustrating because it offers Biology AP in four semesters (yes two years!).

I ain’t got that much time(pardon my grammar)!

Flipping through the Campbell’s textbook, I see a bunch of information on evolution and animal systems. Are those all necessary?

Also (this word will forever conjure up the picture of Tina Fey raising her finger in what seems like a transition to her next point),

Which topic is heavily emphasized (I know i pretty much need to memorize Cliffsnote, but like, what especially)?

Sooo, what to pay attention to, what to skip, what to glance at?

Thanks!

i’ll be starting campbell too. it’s a good idea to read through everything, but pay closer attention to chapters you deem important (you can figure this out by looking at past AP questions)

Read cliffnotes and look up stuff you really don’t understand in Campbell’s, maybe give a cursory glance over Campbell’s if you have time.
