AP Self-Studying: How to Stay Focused

I began to self-study for the Micro exam today, but after an hour, it became really hard to focus and concentrate. I have another 60 pages to read/understand in the Princeton Review book, but I’m wondering whether or not I will be able to get it done in the next month.

For those of you who have successfully studied APs in the past and have gotten 5s or who are currently studying many Aps, what tips and techniques did you use to stay focused and learn the material?? I’m looking for unique answers, not the usual ‘go to a quite place and don’t be distracted’ response.

Thanks in advance.

Get off of CC.

take breaks. although i’ve only gotten 3’s and 4’s on my exams. i can say i get distracted too. after studying for 1 hour, take a 15 minute break. when you get back, spend a few minutes reviewing what you just read. That’s basically it. and yeah, get off cc.
