AP Stat?

Whats the best book to study for AP stat? Also, a lot of ppl in my school see AP stat as really easy, almost a joke class… Is this true? I was looking to go into business and thought it would be a very versatile class for all sorts of majors.

I wouldn’t call easy, but true, it’s not one of the hardest APs. I had a teacher who graded really harshly, so in my school no one ever calls it a joke class.

In that list, Barrons is the recommended book.

Also, sorry to hijack your thread, I plan on going into college as a Pre-Med. Which AP Math should I take next year? AP Calc AB, BC or AP Stat? Thanks

Well for Pre Med im pretty sure you’re gonna need a year of college Calc, if you are really gifted at math or your BC teacher is really good i say you should skip AB and go to BC. But at my school right now even the smartest kids who skipped AB and went to BC are really struggling. Maybe it’s due to the teacher but all in all i would say focus on Calculus.

Definately calc.

Thanks for answering my question. I will take Calc AB then.

AP stats is fun :)

Get Barron’s.

Word of caution: it is way harder than the AP test. The problems in it are challenging - its just that the AP test is a complete joke.

Just read and understand Barron’s and you will get a 5. :)

I meant to say the problems in it are NOT challenging haha. But they are definitely overkill for the AP test.

STATs is fun!!
when u understand it , start using formulas, u notice that it seems to crop up everywhere and that u can apply it to other subjects !!
for example, sth i learnt for a stats test helped me do my chemistry and bio problem.
!

What kind of stats stuff helped you apply it to biology and chemistry?

You are going to need Stats too for pre-med.
