AP Statistics FR Question? Need help! PLEASE HELP ASAP

<p>When the antihistamine Seldane was first introduced, it was heavily promoted because it supposedly didn’t cause drowsiness, unlike other antihistamines. A portion of the prescribing information for the drug is taken from an advertisement:</p>

<li><p>Verify the necessary conditions for performing inference in this setting.</p></li>
<li><p>Calculate the test statistic and the P-value.</p></li>
<li><p>What conclusion would you draw? Explain.</p></li>

<p>This was a practice FR question…I am unable to get the first question haha please i need help</p>

<p>I dunno what the problem is, but that first question didn’t copypaste correctly. We’re gonna need to know what it’s asking for :P</p>

<p>If we let p1 = the proportion of all people experiencing drowsiness who take Seldane, and let p2 = the proportion of all people experiencing drowsiness who take the placebo, then determine p-hat 1 and p-hat 2. (Caution: p-hat 1 is not 0.0115!)</p>

<p>and the 9.0 in the table corresponds to Seldane (N=781) and the 8.1 corresponds to the Placebo</p>

<p>i know I can do 12,13,14 but I have NO IDEA how to do 10 and 11
and i need those to continue the quesiton</p>
