AP Stats w/Apex Learning

Has anyone taken AP Stats with Apex? I’m thinking of taking it this summer with them. Opinions?

Bump 10 char

For me, not really.

APEX Sucks.

PcEhAoCsE, can you elaborate?

The county basically requires teachers to force the evil that is known as APEX unto the students because the county was stupid enough to succumb to whoever came up with the brilliant idea to register for APEX. Sometimes, the audio and video are not in synch, and depending on who the speaker is for that lesson, it either bores you to sleep or gets you at least a little bit interested. Though I will admit that a few lessons were worthwhile, it’s not worth using APEX to study for any course. Though I had a pretty good AP Statistics teacher, I believe the book she picked out as our textbook was an awesome choice as well. The book is titled ‘The Practice of Statistics’ and it’s by Daniel Yates, David Moore, and George McCabe. It is well written and each section is followed by a summary with a summary at the end of each chapter. It has a proficient number of graphs to aid you visually with a good number of practice problems. In addition, it has the answers to all the odd-numbered problems in the back of the book, though I should say one of my friends’ book had misprints for the answers.
