AP Tests

I was looking at Stanford's AP Credit Policy and all that, and I realized that only two of the seven AP courses that I'm taking can actually receive any credit if I take the AP Test for them. Is it really worth it to take the others, or should I just focus on the two that actually count and not take the other five? Would Stanford expect me to take the other AP Tests? I really have to know soon, because I have to place orders for the tests.

I believe a lot of schools that don't give credit for some courses (or will only accept fives) still use it for placement, etc.

can you post a link to their policies? Thanks,

Just found it... wow, they don't count the Econ AP this year? if i get in, that'll be ridiculous

are you 100% you're going to stanford?
if yes - take just those two. the other 5 will be a waste of money. make sure you contact their admission office to double check
if no - take those 7 -____- public schools accept most of the ap test

Remember guys, Google is your best friend:here; it was the first link on Google!

Stanford used to be very generous with AP credits 5 years ago, but not any more.

Yeah, I'm 100% going to Stanford. I'll probably e-mail somebody that I know goes or went there and find out.

it is very clear on their website:
Advanced Placement
http://registrar.stanford.edu/pdf/AP_Chart_2007-08.pdf

So, I'm assuming then that it's not even used for placement of any kind since exams not on that list don't receive any credit, which means that I shouldn't take tests that don't receive credit...right?
