I am self-studying this subject and plan on taking the exam in May. I will be studying everyday for not only this exam, but also AP Comparative Government and Politics. In order to prepare for the exam I have bought three prep books. The Princeton Review, Cliff Notes, and 5 Steps to a 5. Will these books adequately prepare me for the test? Or is there another source (book/website/charts) that I should get in order to ensure a 5? I really want to get a five on both exams as these are my first AP exams and I have high expectations for myself. I have the Ethel Woods book for Comp. Gov so hopefully that will turn out okay. I just wanted to see if I need to change anything for U.S Gov.

Anyone?

Bump

I just bought the Ethel Woods book online because I’m self studying too. Good luck

Thanks Are you self-studying u.s. gov as well? or just comp. gov?

I’m taking the classes; how far along are you, harvardbound95?

Which one?

U.S. Government I am currently reading the Princeton Review and studying Political Parties, Interest Groups, PACs, and 527 Groups… That’s the chapter title in the book anyways lol but that’s chapter 7 out of 11… I just started literally a week ago so I know I’m not very far and I still have two more books to go (Cliff Notes and 5 Steps to a 5), but I think I can make it… How far are you?

Comparative Government I am just about finished studying Great Britain and am about to move on to Russia.

I just put both because I wasn’t sure which you meant lol sorry. I think you meant U.S though… So how far are you? It would be great if I could try to pace myself with a class.
