If your choice is either take the test now or take the course in college, and money is your primary concern, then which is cheaper…the AP test or the course?

You won’t have to make this decision for a little while. See how you feel about the course, get a feel, and worry about it when the issue arises. Also, it’s always good to stay motivated, but it’s too early for you to worry about raising your college GPA with certain classes. It just sounds like you’re stressing yourself out unnecessarily.

I’m trying to get into pharmacy school and right now my college math & science gpa is a 3.0, so I just don’t know if I want to save money OR take it in college to raise my GPA.

I don’t know your situation (or the way that pharmacy schools work), so this is only loose advice…

It sounds like you’re stressing unnecessarily. How many college math & science courses have you taken? Presumably, not so many that you won’t have pleeeenty of time to raise the GPA over the course of 4 years. Also, are you sure that pharmacy schools will count these classes in your GPA? I know some grad school programs will, though your college itself probably won’t. Is there another way to bypass the bio requirement in college (SAT2, placement exam, etc.)?

If you’re still left with the dilemma, “wait and see” remains my advice.

are you in college? usually med schools prefer the students to take the class at a college level instead of getting out of it with AP credit, is pharm school the same way?
