AP vs SAT II in college placement

<p>I understand that AP’s aren’t used in the admissions process, but to give credit after admission. However, numerous top colleges provide placement for SAT II and AP scores. Can a low AP score in let’s say Biology or Chemistry, be helped with a high SAT II score?</p>
