Which do you think is more important?
What if I have a great AP record of mostly 4s and 5s, including “difficult” ones, and my SAT is only 1650?
So what does high APs and low SATs indicate to a college?

That SAT score is definitely going to pull you down. Try aiming for something above 2000s.

Hmm, I don’t know a lot about this but you could try posting this in another forum, maybe College Admissions or perhaps SAT and ACT Tests & Test Preparation forum. You might get more responses. Links are below.

SAT weighs more than AP.

SATs and APs are both really important, and while above-average scores in one might make up for below-average scores in another, a 1650 SAT is going to jump out at colleges. I’d recommend retaking it.
