AP World

Do I need an AP World exam book and a SAT ii book?
I plan on taking both exams but is only one book enough?
Which book would you suggest?

Keep posting

I’d say you might not need a SAT II prep book, just the Blue Book that has the official practice tests.

I haven’t taken the SAT II test myself, but people here on CC typically say that the SAT II test questions are a worded a bit differently than the questions on the AP test.

Thanks

If you prepare well enough for the AP test, you should have your bases covered for the subject test. Just know that the subject test focuses on a lot of little details, whereas the AP test is more about the bigger picture. I used the Princeton Review and watched the Crash Course World History videos with John Green. I ended up getting a 5 on the AP and 780 on the SAT II. I’ve also heard that REA Crash Course is a very helpful book.

The information is the same, just the test’s wording are slightly different. Just buy the collegeboard edition (the US + World one) for practice tests for the SAT II. Its all I used after reviewing for the AP World Exam.
