Hi guys,
I am looking for some sort of outside perspective on how to send out an email regarding off campus housing while unemployed. I found a room for rent here in SoCal for on the UCs and decided my next step is to find independent housing in the form of a studio or single bedroom.
I get financial aid and money from my mom monthly to afford living off campus.
My question to you guys is it possible to include a source of income for housing via email without disclosing any detrimental private information such as an exact dollar amount or an indication of excess (that could be used to raise rent in the future)?
All I’ve got for now is
“I’ve worked full-time from 11/2013 until 1/2014, part-time from 1/2014 to 2/2014, and again full-time from 2/2014 up until the middle of 9/2015 with those last 10 months as a rep for a wireless company.”
Could there be a better way to indicate income to cover housing?
I feel like talking about financial aid makes me seem financially unstable.
Maybe someone in the same situation as me could benefit with your guys’ answers as well.
Any comments would be appreciated.
