I’ve checked TAMS since I got my username/password, and every item on the checklist was received except for the app fee. The only reason I’m concerned about this is b/c I thought the fee was going to be the quickest part, since it was an electronic transaction. I’ve got a receipt through email and a credit card statement stating the posting date was January 3 (though I entered it on Jan 1)… should I be worried?

When I got my TAMS password, the “fee” box had been unchecked as well, but I just sent an email to admissions with a copy of the email confirmation of the payment, and I got an email back saying “consider this your confirmation of received fee.” When I checked TAMS again, the fee box had been checked.

Don’t be worried.

If you have this problem, send an e-mail to admissions@tufts.edu. Likely you’ll have this resolved quickly.

And don’t worry.

What if my transcript and school counselor rec are unchecked? I’ve sent an e-mail to the admission office.

Dan@Tufts, I sent an email to admissions@tufts.edu, but I instantly received an automatically-generated email, the kind that you get when you write to an invalid address.

I get the same e-mail when I send messages to that address. I can assure you that human beings read and react to those e-mails.

Thanks Dan! I was very worried about the “failure” email. Now I can be assured that its sent =)
