Is App state a really known school around the US or is it just because I Live in NC and They talk about it like its a hot shot school?
While Appalachian State University isn’t recognized by all, it is certainly a great school. It offers great value to NC residents (in-state tuition), and can definitely satisfy many items on an applicant’s wishlist with strong academics, a great location, a moderately-sized student body, and D1 sports.
