Appeal as transfer

<p>I have a question… I am a transfer sociology major student. I got rejected and I want to appeal…but the problem is that I haven’t taken all of the preq. for my major. I needed one more. I didn’t know this till a week ago…so what could I say my reason is I want to appeal? If it wasn’t for that class I would have gotten in, I believe. </p>

<p>A prereq is a prereq, whether you knew it or not. It’s unfortunate, but if their policy is to not accept people who have not taken Course X, then without it, they will feel that you are unprepared for their school. You can always take it next semester and reapply for spring.</p>
