<p>I am appealing my aid at NYU Poly, and I want to use Hofstra’s aid offer to my advantage. Can I mention Hofstra’s aid in my appeal letter? (I’m asking because I’m not sure if Hofstra is considered a “peer school” to NYU Poly)</p>
<p>If you want to use Hofstra’s offer as the basis for your appeal, you should provide the other school with that offer. NYU Poly will decide if this has any worth. To be honest, I would have a plan B in case it doesn’t work out.</p>
