<p>Since May 1st is the deadline for officially selecting your college and the appeal notification for many schools is after May 1, does this mean you’re taking a chance that your appeal will be granted?</p>
<p>I think you can submit an SIR, and then retract it and submit a new one when you appeal comes through…</p>
<p>I have heard of people in the past doing that, but I am not 100% sure.</p>
