I applied to two csu’s, still waiting on one decision and have been denied by another. I was planning on appealing, I figure I really have nothing to loose, but should I include recommendation letters from teachers with my appeal?

Appeal letters don’t work unless there was a technical error. (i.e. registrar mistakenly sent in another students grades instead of yours).
The colleges are already receiving thousands of appeals. Don’t add more paper to your pile.

Are the recommendation writers going to focus on some accomplishments that you felt were not included in your original application? What will they add that is new?

Don’t add no mo’ junk to the pile because they ain’t got time to shuffle thru’ mo’ crap; they’s just gonna throw that “stuff” out the winda!
If your teachers are willing to write the letters, it seems like it wouldn’t hurt to try the appeal.
